Between the 28 to the 30th of November of 2018, in Schruns, Austria, the IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations) held its General Assembly. One of the topics that had to be treated was changes on the managing committee, responsible of the management of the federation.
Given that members and president of this committee are elected by the assembly of delegates for a period of three years, this year, the representatives that stepped down were: Kurt Walde and Hanno Doenz, whose positions were appointed to Cesa Bianchi Cesare from Italy, Diego Wellig from Switzerland and Lambert Romain from France.
