For many years now, the Climbing Competition that accompanies the General Assembly has constituted itself as a fundamental opportunity for IFMGA Mountain Guides to share and get to know each other. Along with the Ski Competition, this kind of events, are very important to the federation as they help to create an environment of familiarity as well as collaboration among guides of various countries. This strengthens the sense of community and connection between the guides that share the certification.
This year, on the 25th and 26th of November in Zilina, Slovakia, the 2022 Climbing Championship took place, gathering guides from the associations. You can review the results clicking in the links:
Next year, the climbing competition, will take place in Cortina d'Ampezzo and we hope to see all the guides that can attend there!
